Feeding the World
Humanity in Unity Ireland will shortly launch its New Humanitarian initiatives. These will be two fold local and International.
Sai Maa’s vision is to feed people all over the world and feeding the hungry is the main Humanitarian service of HIU.
The Global Humanitarian Committee are working towards developing humanitarian contributions initiatives and these will be launched shortly.
Two of the Cork community will travel to India in November this year to assist in humanitarian aid work for local communities there. More to follow when we finalise which project is most suitable to link to.
The idea came about from a desire to support the humanitarian work of H.H.Sai Maa and her ashramites. ‘We wanted to get really involved ,raise money, and not just go for a holiday’……
We will keep you updated as we finalise our plans for this very exciting opportunity to do seva.

Internationally to date:
HIU Ireland have made a donation to the Pakistan flood relief fund and donations have also been made from Kerry and Cork Satsang groups for the Humanity in Unity children’s clothing appeal December 2010.
Local Projects to date:
Members of Cork Satsang have assisted with the St Vincent dePaul local Christmas food appeal in 2010.
